An artifact in total symbiosis with the amazing Mediterranean context in which it stood, this is what I imagined from the beginning. From the beginning I imagined a living volume without any precise “border” between “inside and outside”. A space where people could walk barefoot, among white and blue environments. A place created with the myriads of natural essences typical of the wonderful Mediterranean landscape, a place within a place. I imagined soft white drapes slowly fluttering at sunset. I imagined a shell that contained the colors of the sea, the sun, the bougainvillea and the oleanders, a house open to the scent of eucalyptus and jasmine in spring, and that of rosemary and laurel in winter.
I imagined a white volume that, on tiptoe, with kindness and harmony, asked to borrow a small space from the magnificent Mediterranean landscape
